To prepare this chai latte recipe, take a saucepan, combine milk and water in it and place the saucepan over medium-high heat. Let the mixture become warm, then add cloves, cinnamon, orange peel, nutmeg, sugar, tea leaves and peppercorns to it. Bring the mixture to boil and reduce the heat to medium-low. I love how everybody is so hell-bent on accusing Starbucks of trying anything to save money that they “water down the chai”.
